Harvesting the Benefits of Earth Observation

Geoscience Australia’s Digital Earth Australia (DEA) program transforms free and open satellite imagery into insights about changes in Australia’s natural and built environments.

This online showcase will include presentations from DEA and our government and industry partners from the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR), FrontierSI, and AgriFutures Australia.

Join a great line-up of speakers, as we discuss topics such as Earth observation data’s role in managing water take compliance, and in growing Australia’s agritech industry for a sustainable and productive future.

The showcase will also announce the release of DEA’s market research report, ‘Harvesting the Benefits of Earth Observation’. The report identifies the benefits and barriers of the adoption of Earth observation data for the Agriculture sector and calls on technology, research and government sectors across Australia to help accelerate the growth of Earth observation product use.
