Digital Twin Research:  Learning in action

FrontierSI will showcase 3 diverse Digital Twin projects and present the early learnings from the research teams. Although the projects focus on different use cases, insights and recommendations are consistent and cover the themes of standards, user experience, data, platforms and tools, infrastructure, and governance.

The three collaborative research projects that FrontierSI is co-funding and will showcase in this session are:

  • AusEnHealth – a national digital environmental health decision support platform to access, visualise and analyse environmental health data, reports and models, and provide tools to support adaptation planning, vulnerability assessment and decision making.
  • Liveable City Digital Twin Pilot – a precinct level, analytics-aided, and standards-based 3D/4D digital twin in Western Sydney focused on urban liveability and climate adaptability use cases.
  • National Digital Twin for flood resilience in New Zealand – which is developing and testing the specifications needed for a New Zealand flood resilience digital twin and implementing it for selected urban areas.
