Eldar Rubinov recognised in Australian Space Awards

FrontierSI’s PNT and Geodesy Lead, Eldar Rubinov, has been named a finalist for Innovator of the Year at the Australian Space Awards. This recognition acknowledges Eldar’s outstanding contributions to the development of Australia’s first Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Labs, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing the resilience and performance of PNT technologies.

Strengthening Navigation Security with PNT Labs

PNT Labs, launched late last year by FrontierSI, represents an important step forward in safeguarding navigation in the digital age. This state-of-the-art network of facilities is designed to test and analyse the performance of current and emerging positioning, navigation and timing systems, addressing critical vulnerabilities such as radio frequency interference and spoofing attacks. By collaborating with industry and research partners, PNT Labs will provide invaluable insights for sectors such as defence, transport, and critical infrastructure.
