Our government, university and industry partners have been involved in over 200 projects since our inception.
Through FrontierSI research, our industry partners have grown their service offerings, developed new applications and created new businesses, our government partners have developed and implemented new policy and greatly improved their service delivery, and our university partners have delivered excellent applied research, trained the next generation of high quality researchers, enhanced their reputations by building new partnerships with industry and government.

Technology and Delivery Manager
This role involves leading a diverse team of developers and data scientists to formulate and deliver a wide variety of research, innovation and advisory projects to FrontierSI’s many partners. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team and will be working alongside our project management and strategy team. We have a diverse range of projects requiring leadership, from formulating new solutions through to improving operational software and infrastructure.

Product and Project Manager – Urban Analytics
We are finalising the creation of a national innovation partnership to create an artificial intelligence and machine learning focussed suite of data products and software tools. This role will be responsible for the management of the project. You will be involved in delivering a valuable and useful suite of datasets and technology products to the partners, as well as creating a public good set of products for society at large. This multi-million dollar partnership will run for three years and comprises FrontierSI, the University of New South Wales, one of the big four banks, a state government, a local government and a technology company.
Innovation Program Manager
FrontierSI is increasingly working to manage innovation programs that sit between government departments and private companies. This role will sit across two innovation programs – DEA Labs (Geoscience Australia) and the AGO Analytics Labs (Department of Defence) – and will undertake ad-hoc project management for some of our technology projects. The successful candidate will also play a critical part in the management of current and future innovation programs, ensuring that we monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our partners’ investments.
