SOUTHPAN OEM SURVEY EXTENDED


UPDATE: The deadline for the SouthPAN OEM survey has been extended to 15 October 2023.

SouthPAN is the first Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) in the Southern Hemisphere, delivering next-generation Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) services to Australia, New Zealand and maritime regions.

SouthPAN early Open Services are live since September 2022, broadcasting Signals-In-Space (SIS) and providing services via internet, jointly made available to end-users free-of-charge by Geoscience Australia (GA) and Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). SouthPAN Dual Frequency Multi-Constellation (DFMC) SBAS and Precise Point Positioning (PPP) via SouthPAN on the L5 frequency band.

How to get access

GNSS Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are invited to give feedback or get involved in a targeted discussion to integrate SouthPAN signals into their GNSS chipsets and open market opportunities valued at AUD 7.6 billion.
